Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Audio Audit in minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to Register — you start on the free plan, with about an hour of audio a month and no credit card needed
  2. Enter your name, email address and a password
  3. You're signed straight in and taken to your dashboard

We'll also send you a welcome email with a link to verify your address. Verifying it is what lets report emails from your team and from your monitored feeds reach you.

💡 Tip: If you searched for your show on the Audio Audit homepage before registering, its first report starts automatically as soon as your account is created — you'll find it under Latest Reports.

Step 2: Run Your First Report

  1. Find the Generate Report section on your dashboard
  2. Start typing your podcast's name or paste its RSS feed URL, then pick your show from the list
  3. Audio Audit analyses the newest episode in the feed — the report starts a few seconds after you choose

Rather analyse a file? Drop an MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC file on the upload area underneath the search box instead, review its length and estimated cost in credits, and click Upload and analyze.

Step 3: Review Your Results

Once analysis is complete, you'll see:

  • A Passed or Failed verdict against the report's standard, alongside a percentage score
  • Technical measurements for each check
  • Recommendations for improvement
